Earlier this month, the CDC updated its site and issued a news release saying that indirect contact from a surface contaminated with Covid-19 makes it possible that a person can get the virus by touching surfaces or objects with the virus on it and then touching their mouths, nose and possibly eyes.

According to a Mayo Clinic research study published in June 2020,  the Covid-19 virus can remain active on surfaces for up to 3 days

– 24 hours on cardboard, paper products
– 72 hours on stainless steel, plastics, vinyl, leather, denim, doorknobs, light switches, toilets and other surfaces we come into contact with on a daily basis

The Construction & Trucking industries are on the verge of major gains with the impending passage of infrastructure spending across the world. We must stay prepared and make changes in anticipation of our new normals.

By staying vigilant and keeping recommended CDC hygiene guidelines, we decrease the chance of spreading Covid-19. We need to eliminate unnecessary processes. Going digital, eliminating paperwork and ticketing is part of the future.
