CAREER SUMMARY
Sergio E Sotolongo is a proven financial services leader in the asset management and student
lending industries, with a solid record of success. He has built a reputation of demonstrated
leadership, rooted in integrity, results, strategic vision; all of which has enabled others to fulfill
their own visions.
Sergio serves as Chairman and CEO of the Stufund companies. In this capacity, he is responsible
for building the brand and all of its related factors. Since inception, the company has originated
or bought over $900 Million in student loan volume. We participated in the Department of
Education’s Straight A Funding Program and issued our first rated securitization. We consult
with a number of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions.
Additionally, I have substantial experience in developing and implementing long range strategic
plans within the investment banking arena.
Sergio has a proven track record in the investment banking business across a number of
business lines. He has strong relationships with senior management at Goldman Sachs, most
notably with David Solomon. While at the firm for 22 years, he once reported to David. He is
also well known at various investment banks, hedge funds and private equity institutions.
BOARD EXPERIENCE
Sergio served as Treasurer of the Executive Leadership Council Board. ELC is the premiere
African American business enterprise, committed to increasing the number of global black
executives in c-suite enterprises.
He served as Vice Chairman of the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone. The Manhattan Zone
helps make decisions on investment objectives and priorities for local businesses in upper
Manhattan. It’s the largest of the empowerment zones within the country.
He served on the advisory council at Adelphi University, advising the President on a variety of
curricula and endowment opportunities.
He served as the chairman of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni. He continues to
mentor and advise students and faculty on a number of committees and issues
Oliver Foundation. This organization helps inner city youth in high school with course
enrichment and obtaining possible admission to Ivy League institutions.
Planned Parenthood of Greater New Jersey. Sergio served as Treasurer and worked in a variety
of issues on the empowerment of women’s rights.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Sergio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University. He also holds a Masters of
Business Administration from Adelphi University.
Michael Howell is a seasoned and experienced technology services leader, with a proven record of success. As Co-Founder of Fascile Technologies, his conceptual skills and creative thinking has been essential for growing the business. Michael has over 25 years of information technology experience in multiple industries, some of which include dump truck and OTL, public safety, retail, integration, banking and eCommerce. He specializes in process improvement, program management, software-as-a-service, custom software development, e-business, eCommerce, web development, system integration and implementing various ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft. His leadership responsibilities have supported the growth of multiple businesses, ranging from $100M to $500M annually. Michael visualizes the company as a whole and as industry needs change, he will be sure to align Fascile’s technical roadmap to develop solutions that meet those needs. Michael is a graduate of The Ohio Dominican University with a B.S. degree in Computer Science.
Joe studied Business Management and Accounting at Morehead and Syracuse Universities. Worked as a Regional Manager for a US Tax processing company with CPA clients consisting of the largest firms. Purchased own company for point-of-sale software from ASHLAND OIL in 1990 specializing in the Aggregates Industry where we development software and hardware solutions with companies like White Rock Quarries, Mitsubishi, Vulcan, and Stoneco. In 1992, we became a supplier of point-of-sale software and unmanned driver terminals for Waste Management at over 200 locations. In 1994, we entered in another market with recycling and dry powders with lots of City and County government customers. In 2002, he sold the company (Automation Services) to METTLER TOLEDO and integrated it into their vehicle software division and headed up their Consultative and Services group for North American. This included solutions for their large Food and Pharma companies along with vehicle solutions that included WIM in Motion trucking locations for 50% of the states. He managed sales, marketing, development, and service until retirement in 2015. Since then, he has been the managing partner in Everman Investments work with startup companies and acquisitions.

Overlapped all Sales Reps in the US, Canada and Caribbean, recognizing needs, persuading decision makers to choose Mettler-Toledo software solution, then managing the implementation with standard Project Management processes, Delivered over $60M in revenue. Partnered with South Central Bell and lead the GTE Project Team of 60 members to design and deploy digital and cloud network throughout the state. $150M in Revenue and recognized by GTE as the GOLD standard sales team of the year in our division. Developed FASB#13 lease opportunities via discounted cash flow analysis to VPs of Finance of Fortune 100 companies. Closed millions of leases with dynamic profit streams for the IBM National Sales Team.
